Open: Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri: 12–2PM, 7:30–9:30PM
Closed: Weds, Sun
Location: 7 Rue du Lycée, 06000 Nice
The first two times I went to Vegan Gorilla I didn’t eat much, purely because they were fully booked… This restaurant is very popular and that’s a forewarning to any thinking of trying some of the delightful vegan dishes on offer. Make sure to book.
The menu consists of two starters, two main courses and two desserts and it changes every Monday according to the seasonal availability of fresh ingredients from local suppliers. The kitchen is run by Willy Camille and two young vegan chefs, Sophia and Clément. The vegetables are sourced locally from Grasse and the bread from the baker two doors down. This has to be one of the finest vegan restaurants on the French Riviera.
Verdict: Not to be missed.
#2) Paper Plane

Wonderful group of people which decided to open this little bright cave of Only Organic wholesome food which changes weekly. The food is full of flavour and very low priced compared to others.Fahad – Trip Advisor Review
Feed your mind! This delightfully inviting Vegan café serves an array of sumptuous unconventional vegan dishes.
Some previous menu options include a Vegan Keralan Curry (GF Simmered cauliflower, chickpeas, pineapple with coconut milk and Indian spices, served with basmati rice, homemade yogurt with crispy mint pancake), Vegan Spaghetti Carbonara (Whole wheat spaghetti, squash carbonara sauce served with smoked tofu, pan-fried mushrooms, vegetable parmesan) and a GF Vegan Power Bowl (Quinoa, grated beetroot, kale, white bean and chickpea hummus, roasted sweet potato, avocado, vinaigrette, peppers and smoked paprika.
They also have a tasty range of juices and desserts. The staff are very friendly, do make sure to check out if they are opening before going, i’ve found it shut a couple of times for seasonal closure.
Verdict: A taste sensation and as very Instagramable presentation.

Best for: Lunch and a detox.
Location: 6 rue Barla, Nice, France 06300
Ok, this isn’t an exclusively vegan restaurant, sorry, the title is a little decieving but these Poké bowls are just too good to pass up.
The ingredients of these Poké’s are very fresh and bursting with colour, the portions are big and filling and the restaurant is clean, comfortable and relaxing. The service is efficient and all the cups are not made of plastic so you get to do some good for the environment whilst you are there.
Verdict: Best Poké bowls on the Côte d’Azur.
